Harland Delain White, 75 year old resident of Vici, OK passed from this life on December 20, 2008 at Woodward, OK. Harland was born on December 19, 1933 in Vici, OK to Claude and Verna (Moss) White. Harland attended Vici Public Schools graduating from Vici High School. On August 29, 1953 Harland married Reta Conine. The couple made their home in Vici. Three children blessed this union, Gayla, Holly, and son Lain. In March of 1996 Harland lost Reta. On September 11, 1996 Harland married Darlene (Harris) Hininger at the court house in Woodward, OK. The couple enjoyed 12 wonderful years together.

Harland worked as a welder and rancher. He enjoyed spending time with family and liked to fish. In August of 1996 Harland was baptized at the Woodward Church of Christ. He attended church at the Vici Church of Christ and enjoyed time with his family and friends from the Church of the Firstborn.

Harland was preceded in death by his wife, Reta White, son-in-law Lucky Williams, granddaughter Linsy Haines, sisters Verla Barber, Lois Allison, and Urilda Cole, brothers Cecil and Lindel White.

He is survived by his wife Darlene White of the home in Vici, OK; daughters Gayla Williams of Vici, OK and Holly Haines and husband Brian Laverentz of Woodward, OK; son Lain White of Vici, OK; brothers Raymond and Sherrill White of Vici, OK; sister Nelda Tebow of Oklahoma City, OK; 9 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; son-in-law Doug Haines; two stepsons Monte and Terry Hininger; other family and a host of friends.
