Ida Fae Meininger was born on October 1, 1954 in Shattuck, Oklahoma to Truman Leon & Ruth L. (Martin) Coykendall. She passed from this life on January 24, 2013 at the age of 58.
Ida's school days were spent at Arnett. This enabled her to receive her G.E.D. a few years later.
On October 11, 1972, Ida was united in marriage to Jimmy Meininger. To this union three children were born; Scott, Joseph and Melissa. In 2009, Ida and Tomas Osorio became life companions sharing their love and devotion with one another.
Ida worked in several areas, but primarily worked as a LPN caring for those in need. She really enjoyed working with the ladies at the Edward Abraham Memorial in Canadian, TX.
Ida was baptized while in her teens and placed her membership in the Arnett Apostolic Faith Church.
Ida enjoyed gardening and flowers of all kinds. Her greatest time was time spent with her grandkids. It did not matter what was happening or what she was doing as long as it was with them. She loved them dearly and spoke of them often.
Ida was preceded in death by her father Truman Coykendall and nephew Byron Coykendall. Those left to cherish her memory are, life companion Tomas Osorio, her mother Ruth Coykendall, children Scott Meininger and wife Nikki of Follett, TX, Joseph Meininger and wife Stephine of Gun Barrel, TX, and Melissa Cash of Arnett, OK, her grandchildren; Colten Meininger, Trevor McKnight, Josh Brawner, Stetson Brawner and Cody Brawner, Tyler Meininger, Marshall Meininger, Caleb Meininger, Katie Meininger and Hayley Canales, sister Sharon Bettes of Olathe, KS, brothers Claude Coykendall of Arnett, OK and Carl Coykendall of Clinton, OK, uncle Walter Martin, seven nieces, nine nephews, many cousins and a host of friends.
