Ila Mae "Shorty" Williamson was born March 28, 1932 in Leedey, Oklahoma, to Floyd and Jewel (Cairl) Ferrell, and passed from this life June 24, 2010. The family lived 2 miles south of Leedey and Ila Mae completed school at Leedey.
On April 25, 1952, Ila Mae was united in marriage to her high school sweetheart and the love of her life, Kenneth Lee Williamson, at Taloga, Oklahoma. Three children were born to this union; Floyd, Donita and Kenny. They lived in the Leedey and Moorewood, Oklahoma area most of their lives. Her life was busy as a housewife, also helping with the farming and the dairy as well. She loved cooking, shopping, traveling, and most of all riding the 4-wheeler, watching movies, and playing games with the grandchildren.
She was baptized at an early age in the Church of Christ and was a member of the Leedey Church of Christ where she attended.
Those preceding her in death were her parents, Floyd and Jewel Ferrell; a brother, Duane Ferrell: and a sister, Imogene Ferrell.
She is survived by husband, Kenneth, of the home; sons Floyd Williamson and wife Paula of Coalgate, OK, and Kenny Williamson and wife, Dora of Leedey, OK; and daughter Donita Smith and Husband Monte of Hammon, OK; brother, Odell Ferrell and wife Judy of Butler, OK; three grandchildren, Brandon and Michael Williamson and Kevin Smith; three great-grandchildren, Brinlee, Caleb and Leah Williamson; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and neighbors
