Obituary

Jacqueline Faye Waller, age 86, of Checotah, Oklahoma passed from this earth on February 24, 2017. Jackie was born to Lucille (Smart) Wilson and James Preston Wilson on November 25, 1930, in Muskogee Oklahoma. Later in life the family moved to Pampa Texas where Jackie attended school and graduated from Pampa High School. She accepted the Lord as her Savior and was baptized as a young adult in Pampa, Texas.
Jackie was married to Marvin O. Grace and had two sons Michael Lee Grace and Ronnie Lynn Grace.
Jackie was joined in marriage to Bennie Wesley Waller on 4th day of May in 1961 and settling in Oktaha, Oklahoma and later moved to Checotah, Oklahoma where she lived.
Jackie and Bennie owned and operated Checotah Insurance Agency and Jackie's Jewelry Store in Checotah, Oklahoma. Jackie started College at age 58 to get her B.S. degree and after graduation from Northeastern State University with Honors she was an Educator at Connors State College for 10 years and was loved by all. Jackie's interest where many and among them where her family, painting, golfing, gardening, traveling and collecting. As a Ministers wife she was very active in the Methodist Churches. Jackie was appointed by the Governor of Oklahoma to the role of Ombudsman at Eastgate Village in Muskogee Oklahoma. Jackie spoke highly of those who worked at Eastgate Village and made many lifelong friends there. Jackie was an educator, kind, generous, caring, and loved all people.
Jackie was preceded in death by her parents Lucille and Press Wilson and her husband Bennie Waller.
Jackie is survived by her sister Carol Grant of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, daughter Brenda Punches of Kearney Nebraska, sons Michael and wife Carla Grace of Oktaha, Oklahoma, Ronnie and wife Paula Grace of Oklahoma City, two nephews Randy and wife Janice Fagan of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma and Len Don Fagan of Amarillo, Texas. Jackie has 5 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, cousins, other family and a host of friends.
