44 year old James Lee Frederick was born on October 22, 1968 in Downey, California to Edgar Allen and Sharon Elizabeth (Longbrake) Benedict. James passed away on December 3, 2012 in Amarillo, TX. James attended school through 12th grade in Southern California. James was united in marriage to Kristie Heatherly on August 22, 2009 at the Hemphill County Texas Courthouse.
James worked as a derrick hand in the oilfield industry for many years. His favorite hobby was barbequing at every opportunity. James was a very dedicated provider for his family and friends. It was very important to him to help those in the community with projects that needed completed, including providing meals for a friend. James will be greatly missed by all those who knew and loved him. James was preceded in death by his parents and daughter Cecilia Frederick. Those left to cherish his memory are his wife Kristie of the home, stepson Jeff Heatherly, brothers Edgar and John Frederick, sisters MaeLynn and MistyLynn Frederick, one grandson, several aunts and uncles, many nieces and nephews and a host of other friends and family. Memorials may be given to help the family in this time of need
