James Ray Kelln of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma passed from this life on August 30, 2008 at the age of 63. He was born February 14, 1945 at Shattuck, Oklahoma to Jacob and Leah (Faust) Kelln.
James grew up in the Shattuck area and attended both grade school and high school in Shattuck. He went on to further his education at Oklahoma A&M College in Stillwater, Oklahoma.
On October 15, 1966 James married Cindy Thompson in the Bennett Chapel in Stillwater, Oklahoma. During their marriage they lived in Oklahoma City, Washington D.C., and Houston, Texas. James worked for 35 years for the Federal Aviation Administration as an instructor and inspector until his health forced him to retire.
James accepted Christ as his Savior in 1958 at the St. Paul Congregational Church in Shattuck. While living in Oklahoma City he attended the Spiritual Fellowship Church and served as an Elder. His favorite hobbies were flying airplanes and hunting.
James was preceded in death by his parents, Jacob and Leah Kelln and by his sister, Evelyn M. Mounts.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Cindy of Oklahoma City; brother, Norman J. Kelln and wife Jo Ann of Shattuck, Oklahoma; brother-in-law, Gene Mounts of Balko, Oklahoma; three aunts, two nieces, two nephews, and by a host of friends.
