Janice Marie Harrel, cherished mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away on July 31, 2024, at the age of 81. She was born on December 21, 1942, in Leedey, Oklahoma, where she spent her formative years and graduated from Leedey High School. Janice went on to letter and earned a degree from Oklahoma State University. She went on to teach, a testament to her lifelong commitment to education and nurturing others.

Janice's life was a tapestry of diverse and fulfilling pursuits. She dedicated several years to teaching and sharing her knowledge and passion with countless students. In addition to her role as an educator, Janice was a talented artist, a devoted business owner, and a passionate rancher. Her creative spirit and entrepreneurial drive were matched only by her deep love for her family.

She was preceded in death by her beloved parents, Hugh and Clystia Harrel, her brother GW Harrel, sister in law Karen Harrel, brother in law Terry Nichols, her son Jay Guy Gullic, and nephew Jason Harrel. Janice's memory will be lovingly cherished by her surviving family members: her sister Doneta Nichols; sons Gary Gullic and his wife Meredith and Hugh Ford Gullic and his wife Heather; her daughter-in-laws Kelly School, Cindy Ruckle, Shanna Gullic, and Cindy Wyatt; her grandchildren Kalyn Schulze, Jordan Gullic, Austin Gullic, Dalton Gullic, Alexis Gullic, Brodie Gullic, Jade Gullic, Jayna Gullic, Bren Gullic, and Teagen Gullic; and her great grandchildren Trenton Schulze, Hailey Schulze, Asha Gooch, Lorelei Gullic, Morticia Gullic, Silas Gullic, Emery Gullic, Daisy Gullic, and Ivy Gullic.

Janice's legacy of love, strength, and creativity will forever remain in the hearts of all who knew her. Her warmth, wisdom, and vibrant spirit will be deeply missed. Services will be Monday, August 5th at 11am at Harvest Fellowship Church in Leedey, Oklahoma.

Flowers or donations to the Harvest Fellowship Church will be accepted in Janice's memory. Her life was a testament to the power of love and dedication, and she will be remembered fondly by all whose lives she touched.
