Jarita Kay Gamble passed away on October 9, 2024, at 66 years of age.

Jarita was born on January 5, 1958, in Amarillo, TX to Carl Nebhut and Myra Ladd Nebhut.

Growing up, she moved with her family to multiple towns until they finally settled in Vici, OK.  Then Jarita became a proud graduate of Vici high school. On June 20, 1974, at the age of 17 she married the love of her life Gerald "Buster" Gamble. Those two went on many adventures together. Camping trips, Fishing trips, and casino trips were just a few of the things they enjoyed together. They were lucky at the casino winning a pickup, wave runners, and numerous jackpots.

Buster and Jarita were blessed with two wonderful children, Brandon and Misty. A big part of Jarita's life was spent working at the Vici Nursing home. She started working there at the age of 15 and worked in every department at one time or another. Jarita graduated from LPN school in 1990. She loved her job, her co-workers, and the residents of the nursing home. After her retirement in December 2018 she stayed busy chasing her grandkids, going to the casino with her brother and sister, cheering on the OU Sooners and the Thunder with her best friend.

Jarita is proceeded in death by her beloved husband, Gerald "Buster" Gamble, grandson, Kason Gamble, and parents, Carl and Myra Nebhut.

Jarita is survived and forever remembered by her son Brandon Gamble and wife Tali of Camargo, OK Daughter Misty Thomson of Oklahoma City, OK. Four grandchildren, Kenna, Kruz, and Kassidee Gamble, and Kaylee Thompson, brother Melvin Nebhut and wife Delva of Vici, OK, brother Terry Nebhut and wife Brenda of Vici, OK, sister Sheri Boswell and husband Greg of Vici, OK, several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and a host of friends.
