Obituary

JC Willyard, 79 year old resident of Arnett, OK, passed from this life on November 5, 2020.  JC was born April 2, 1941 to Jack and Bessie Willyard in Higgins TX.  He grew up in Higgins and graduated with the class of 1956.  JC honorably served in the army from 1963-1965.  He has lived all his life in western Oklahoma and the panhandle of Texas.  JC worked for City Service, Bybee Waterwells, and Getty Oil for a large part of his life. In his later years, he worked as a carpenter where he eventually retired. JC enjoyed fishing, being around family, and working on things around the house.  He was a member of the Arnett Church of Christ for 13 years.

JC is preceded in death by his parents Jack and Bessie Willyard, brothers JB Willyard, RB Willyard, and BJ Willyard, sister Joy Mulkey.

He is survived by his son Rick Willyard of Shattuck, OK; daughter LeAnne Willyard of Shattuck, OK; four sisters Peggy Thomas of Arnett, OK, Brenda Callahan of Higgins, TX, Linda Pralle of Perryton, TX, and Wanda Summers of Hurst, TX; brother JR Willyard of Texas; 12 grandchildren, four great grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, extended family and a host of friends.
