Wilma Jean Jones, beloved wife of the late Perry Wade Jones departed this life in Roland, OK. on September 10, 2022 at the age of 84.  She was the daughter of Huey Lafae and Ruby Lee (Welch) Eastwood and was born near Oakdale, in Allen Parrish, LA. on April 1, 1938.

Jean went to school in Oakdale where she attended throughout her youth and graduated with the class of 1956.  On December 16, 1956 Wilma Jean married Perry Wade Jones in Oakdale and six children were born to their union.  Their marriage of nearly 53 years saw them and their family calling many places home, including Leedey, Hydro, Mooreland, Woodward and finally Gore, OK.

Jean served as an EMT for 23 years, she was a homemaker and a loving wife, mother and sister.  She loved spending time with her grandchildren and fishing.

Besides her parents and her husband, she is preceded in death by two daughters, Sheryl Denise and an infant daughter.  Two sisters Glenda Rawles and Margaret White and her brother Dewayne Eastwood and other loved ones.

Her memory will be cherished by her children, Lana and husband Terry Coursey of Mustang, OK., Kelli and husband Dean James of Gore, OK., Mark Jones of Gatlinburg, TN.,  Dana and husband Shawn Troutman of Vian, OK. and nine grand children and five great grandchildren.  Two sisters, Betty Raspberry of Grant, LA. and Sherry Drewitt and husband Tommy of Alexandria, LA., several nieces and nephews, a host of family and many dear friends.
