Jeannette Alice Fields, 92 year old Taloga, OK, resident, passed from this life on March, 19, 2015, at Seiling OK. She was born November 14, 1922, to Ocal and Buna (Thompson) Bradfield in Texas County of the Oklahoma Panhandle. She attended school in Hougton, KS, graduating in 1940. On May 14, 1942, Jeanette married the love of her life, Carol Fields at her parent's home in Hougton, KS, and they enjoyed 72 years of marriage. Two lovely children were born to this union, Larry and Pamela. Carol and Jeannette made their home in Taloga, later moving to Woodward, Clinton, and then back to Taloga in 1972. Jeannette was a homemaker and a helpmate to Carol in the family business, Fields Hardware and Marine. She enjoyed gardening and always had beautiful flowers around her house. Jeannette was baptized in the Taloga First Baptist Church, and was a current member of the Seiling First Baptist Church. She enjoyed being the organist and song leader for many years.

Jeannette was preceded in death by her parents Ocal and Buna Bradfield and a brother Marvin Bradfield.

She is survived by her husband Carol; son Larry Fields and wife Esther of Taloga, OK; daughter Pamela Mericle and husband Tony of McLoud, OK; grandchildren Brian, Tony Lynn and Kami; and great-granddaughter Ava.
