Jerry Lane Crandall was born September 15, 1962, to Elmer Lane and Armada Ann (Ator) Crandall in Cheyenne, Oklahoma. He passed from this life December 25, 2013 at 51 years of age. Jerry started grade school in Okeene, Oklahoma. The family moved to Higgins, Texas, in 1968, where he finished his schooling years, graduating from Higgins High School in 1981. He was voted "Class Favorite" his Freshman year. Jerry was active in FFA showing animals and was awarded a Certificate of Merit for his shop work. He also participated in sports running track, playing football, baseball and basketball during his school years. Jerry attended the Higgins First Baptist Church. He worked for Bybee Water Wells, Range Brothers Roofing and James Robertson. Jerry enjoyed watching TV, being with his family, especially riding around town with his dad, and playing with his 2 cats, Tippy and Fluffy.

Jerry was preceded in death by his mother Armada Crandall, and grandparents Otto and Alma (Ayers) Ator and Worth and Mabel (Reed) Crandall.

He is survived by his father Elmer Lane Crandall of Higgins, Texas; sister Lois Ann Range and husband Mark of Arnett, Oklahoma; nephews Brandon Levi Range and wife Patricia of Higgins, Texas, and Torrance Lane Range of Arnett, Oklahoma; great-nephews Clayton Lane Range and Casey Lynne Birkett of Higgins, Texas; great-niece Brittany Michelle Cano of Higgins, Texas; aunts, uncles, cousins, and many loving friends.
