Jimmie Leon Meininger, 67-year-old former resident of Arnett, OK, passed from this life on January 16, 2019 in Seiling, OK.  Jimmie was born September 10, 1951 to James and Peggy (Wentz) Meininger.  He grew up in the Harmon, Arnett area and attended Arnett schools.  Jimmie married Ida Fae Coykandall and to this union three children were born James, Melessa, and Joseph.  He worked for Ellis County and was a grader hand. He enjoyed fishing with the grandkids and watching NASCAR and westerns.

Jimmie is preceded in death by his parents James Meininger and Peggy Meininger, wife Ida Meininger, step dad Dean Johnson; two brothers John and Jack Meininger, one nephew Jacob Meininger.

He is survived by his children James Meininger of Higgins, TX, Melessa Cash of Arnett OK,  Joseph Meininger and wife Stephanie of Arnett; nephew Christopher Johnson and wife Sofia of Tulsa, OK; one brother Harold Johnson of Gage, OK; two sisters Carrie Ann Johnson of Gage, OK and Tricia Johnson of Woodward, OK; eleven grandchildren Colton Protz and wife Kristen, Marshal Meininger, Caleb Meininger, Trevor McKnight, Andrea Holmes, Katie Meininger, Laci Meininger, Joshua Brawner, Cody Brawner, Stetson Brawner, and Tyler Meininger; three great-grandchildren Avalina Barnett, Alexia Larkey and Everly Protz;  many nieces, nephews extended family and a host of friends.
