JoAnna S. Sweet Martin, daughter of Bill and Leota Sue (Turner) Sweet was born in Mooreland Oklahoma, on September 23, 1954 and passed from this life in Newberry, Michigan on February 18, 2013 at the age of 58. JoAnna was raised and attended school in Oklahoma.

On December 29, 1972 JoAnna married Terry Martin at Phoenix, Arizona. The coupled moved to Gould City, Michigan in 1988. Two children were born to this union: Christopher and Tina. JoAnna enjoyed flower gardening, crocheting and was an accomplished acrylic painting artist.

JoAnna was preceded in death by her mom, Leota Sue Sweet. She is survived by husband Terry Martin of Gould City, Michigan; son Christopher Martin of Gould City, Michigan; daughter Tina Lesatz and husband Todd of Curtis, Michigan; father Bill Sweet and wife Helen of Vici, Oklahoma; foster mother Joyce Taylor of Oklahoma; siblings: Lana Sweet and Harry Sweet of Woodward, Oklahoma, Lisa Branson and husband Ryan of Vici, Oklahoma, Cindy Ochoa of Phoenix, Arizona, Cheryl Allen of Phoenix, Arizona, Ricky Allen of Goodyear, Arizona and Raymond Allen of San Diego, California; four grandchildren: Shaelynne Rocha, Tasha, Trenton and Tucker Lesatz, nieces, nephews, other family and a host of friends.
