In Loving Memory of Joe David Busellato
Joe David Busellato, known to many as "JD," was born on May 25, 1951, in McAlester, Oklahoma, to James A. and A. Geneva Busellato. He spent his formative years in Shattuck, Oklahoma, attending elementary and high school, and proudly graduated in 1969. After high school, JD set out on a journey that took him to Detroit, Michigan, where he lent his skills to the automotive industry.
His passion for the open road eventually led him back home, where he operated heavy machinery for Wes Bender in road construction. In 1980, JD embraced a new chapter in Beaver, Oklahoma, working in the oil fields for Hardberger and Smylie. His final move took him to his dad's property north of Krebs, Oklahoma, where he dedicated his talents to oilfield construction, expertly steering a dozer until his well-deserved retirement.
Joe found joy in the open road, cherishing the freedom of riding his Harley and embracing the camaraderie of the motorcycle lifestyle. He lived life to the fullest and made lasting memories with friends and family.
Joe David Busellato peacefully passed away in his home on the lake. He is preceded in death by his parents, James A. and A. Geneva Busellato, and his brother, Johnny Busellato. He is survived by his sister, Donna Bailey, and her husband Jim of Clinton; brother, Jimmy Busellato, and his wife Nikki of Weatherford; sister-in-law, Gayleen Busellato of Woodward. JD is also survived by two nieces, two nephews, and many great nieces and nephews whom he adored.
Joe David Busellato will be remembered for his adventurous spirit, hard work, and the love he shared with those closest to him. May he rest in peace, riding eternal on the open roads he so dearly loved.
