John Arthur Meininger, 62-year-old resident of Gage, OK, passed from this life on December 30, 2018.  John was born August 30, 1956 to James and Peggy (Wentz) Meininger at the doctor's office in Vici, OK.  He grew up in northwest Oklahoma primarily in Vici, Harmon, Arnett, and Shattuck.  John married Mary Michelle Moser in Higgins, TX and later married Sandra Sober.  After marriage he primarily lived in the Gage-Shattuck area.  John was a ranch hand and farmer.  He enjoyed NASCAR, small engine repair, strumming guitar, and watching westerns on T.V.

John is preceded in death by his parents James and Peggy Meininger and his son Jacob James Meininger.

He is survived by his son Shane John Meininger of Kansas City, KS; two brothers Harold Johnson of Gage, OK and Jimmy Meininger of Seiling, OK; two sisters Carrie Ann Johnson of Gage, OK and Tricia Dawn Johnson of Woodward, OK; many nieces, nephews extended family and a host of friends.
