Julianna Regier Huff, 88, of Amarillo, died August 16, 2010. Julianna was born in Waka, Texas on April 6, 1922 to George and Suzanna Theissen Regier. She graduated from Carnegie, Oklahoma High School with the Class of 1940. In 1945, Julianna married Wayne Huff the day after he returned home for World War II. They had written each other daily for four years during his time at war. They both attended the Apostolic Faith Bible College in Baxter Springs, KS shortly after they were married. Julianna served as bookkeeper and secretary for her husband's piano business. After living in Midwest City, Oklahoma for 21 years, she and Wayne moved to Muskogee, Oklahoma and operated a piano store. In 1976, they moved to Canyon, TX and then, in 1985 they moved to Ada, Oklahoma where they were semi-retired. The Huffs moved to the Seasons Assisted Living Center in Perryton, TX in 2004. This was followed by an extended stay at the Meredith House in Pampa. Julianna lived with her son and daughter-in-law, Dennis and Margie Huff since 2008. She attended the Jan Werner Adult Day Care. Julianna was an accomplished seamstress. She made garments for her family and enjoyed keeping school costumes and pep club uniforms mended. She was a faithful servant of God and raised her children to be godly adults. Julianna is preceded in death by her parents, George and Suzanna Regier; eight siblings, David, Frank, Jacob C., George, Henry, Elizabeth, Mary and Susan. Survivors include her husband, Wayne of Clinton, OK; two sons, Dennis Huff and wife Margie of Amarillo, TX and Fred Huff and wife Saundra of Balko, OK; daughter, Carol Wright and husband Mark of Choctaw, OK; nine grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Memorials may be made to the Apostolic Faith Bible College of Baxter Springs, KS or Jan Werner Adult Day Care of Amarillo, TX.
Funeral services were held in the Shaw Funeral Home Chapel, Arnett, OK with Reverend Jack Cornell of Spearman, TX officiating, Joye Watson assisting. Burial followed in DeBolt Cemetery.
