Karen Jean (Salisbury) Fox, 69-year-old Mooreland, OK resident passed from this life on January 9, 2022, at her home. She was born to Stan and Wilma Jean (Guffy) Salisbury on August 15, 1952, in Seiling, OK. She grew up in the Seiling area and attended Seiling Public Schools. After graduating high school, she furthered her education at Southwestern Oklahoma State University at Sayre, OK. Karen graduated college and worked as a lab and x-ray technician.

Karen married Phillip Fox on September 9, 1975, and to this union three daughters were born Margaret, Amber and Kayley. The family lived in Bethany, OK and later moved to Mooreland, OK. After the passing of her first husband Phillip, she went to work for the Town of Mooreland as the city clerk. Karen meets Charles Woods while working in Mooreland and they have been together ever since.

In her spare time, she enjoyed doing crafts and taking road trips. Karen's all-time favorite was spoiling and spending time with her grandkids. She loved her family and will be missed by all who knew her and her quirky little sayings like "Doing Just Peachy."

Karen was preceded in death by her father Stan Salisbury, mother Wilma Jean Mullaley, stepfather George Mullaley, first husband Phillip Fox and a brother Kenneth (Kenny) Hart.

She is survived by her husband Charles Woods of Mooreland, OK; three daughters Margaret Fox and husband Nathan of Tulsa, OK, Amber Fox of Woodward, OK and Kayley Carson and husband James of Woodward, OK; five grandchildren; sister Sandy Clendenny and husband Jack of Guthrie, OK; four nieces, one nephew, other family and a host of friends.
