Obituary

Karl Dean Muno, born August 5, 1936 in Lenora, Oklahoma to Garvin and Faye (Gore) Muno, passed from this life on May 6, 2007 at the age of 70.

Karl began his elementary school years while the family lived in Oregon. Upon returning to Oklahoma he attended school at Seiling for a short time and finished his high school years at Taloga High School. He continued his education at Panhandle State University studying Meteorology.

Karl was united in marriage to Judy Dryden and their marriage was blessed with the birth of their daughter, Marla Kay. Karl and Judy made their home in Lenora where they also made their living farming and ranching.

In addition to farming, Karl enjoyed planting fruit trees and generously sharing the crop with his neighbors. He liked to make a daily trip to the Quick Stop where he enjoyed drinking coffee and visiting with friends. Karl was a past member of the Woodward Elks Lodge.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Garvin and Faye Muno; by daughter, Marla Kay Pauls; and by brother, Ed Muno. He is survived by his brother, Burl Muno of Dalhart, Texas; by grandson, Timothy Pauls, of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; by several aunts, uncles, a niece, nephews, and a host of friends.

Graveside services were held Tuesday, May 8, 2007 in the Raymond Cemetery, Lenora, Oklahoma under the direction of Shaw Funeral Home, Vici, Oklahoma.
