Kathleen Anne (Smith) Raygor, daughter of John Lewis and Anne Marie (Dolekary) Smith was born March 16, 1948 in McKeesport, PA.  She passed from this life at the age of 72 years, 10 months and 18 days on February 3, 2021 at her home in Higgins TX.

Kathy's childhood years were spent in Pennsylvania where she attended grade school and freshman through junior years of high school at Elizabeth Ford High School in Elizabeth Township.  She completed her school days graduating in 1966 from Flowing Wells High School following a move to Tucson, AZ.  After graduation, Kathy moved to California where she met and married Daniel Goude.  They were the parents of a daughter, Kelly and a son, David.  They later returned to make their home in Tucson.   In 1984, while living in Modesto, CA., she became a licensed beautician after completing the required courses at Adrian College of Beauty.

On March 24, 1989 in Las Vegas, NV. Kathy was united in marriage to Keith D. Raygor.   Kathy and Keith lived in Yuma, AZ. before moving to Texas in 1990.  They resided in Euless, TX., at the lake in Bridgeport, TX. and at Bowie, TX.  In 1993 while making their home in Bowie, TX., Kathy had a partnership in a hair salon and also an antique and collectibles shop.  They established their current home in Higgins, TX. in November of 1999.

Kathy was a wonderful mother and a kind and genuine friend.  She was a member of the Higgins United Methodist Church and enjoyed gardening, home decorating, crafting and painting.  She was blessed to have the talent of making people feel welcome and at ease and will be remembered for her kind and caring ways.

She is preceded in death by her parents, John and Anne Smith, her husband, Keith Raygor, her sister, Karen J. White, two nieces, Heidi Korn and Amanda Cramer and other loved ones.

Kathy is survived by her children, Kelly Cribb and husband Trent of Higgins, TX. and David Goude of Alpine, AZ.  Her step children, Scott Raygor of Adel I.A., Ann Raygor of Newton, IA., Brad Raygor of Colorado Springs, CO., Jill Romero of Colorado Springs, CO. and Tim Raygor of Lyons, NE.  Her sister, Linda Cramer and husband Rusty of Bowie, TX. and six grandchildren, John Rice of Springtown, TX., Alyssa Cribb and Ryan Cribb of Higgins, TX., Hannah Goude of Phoenix, AZ. and Hailey Goude and Thomas Goude of Tucson, AZ., numerous nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.
