Keith Dee Raygor, son of Laverne 'Shorty' Raygor and Mildred (Murphy) Raygor, was born at Guthrie Center, Iowa on August 9, 1935.  At the age of 85 he passed from this life at his home in Higgins, TX. on September 12, 2020.  Keith grew up in the Guthrie Center community and attended grade school and high school in the Guthrie Center community schools.  He was a member of the graduating class of 1953.

Over the years Keith was employed as a commercial roof technician and a sales rep for John Deere.  Repairing small engines was a special interest for him.

Keith was the father of four sons, Craig, Scott, Brad and Tim and two daughters, Ann and Jill.  On March 24, 1989 in Las Vegas, NV., Keith was united in marriage to Kathleen (Kathy) Smith and her children Kelly and David joined the family. In January of 1990 Keith and Kathy moved to Euless, TX where he was employed as a commercial roof technician. Keith and Kathy slowly made their way into the Texas Panhandle and moved to Higgins in November of 1999, making it their home for the last 21 years.

His memory is cherished by his wife Kathy of Higgins, TX., his children, Scott Raygor of Adel, IA., Ann Raygor of Newton, IA., Brad Raygor of Colorado Springs, CO., Tim Raygor of Lyons, NE. and Jill Romero of Colorado Springs, CO  His stepchildren, Kelly Cribb and husband Trent of Higgins, TX. and David Goude of Alpine, AZ. His brother, Carrol Raygor and wife Joyce of Sun City, AZ.  Seventeen grandchildren, nine great grandchildren, three nieces, other relatives and friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Shorty and Mildred, his beloved son, Craig and his grandson Eli Raygor.
