Kenna Elaine Jackson was born May 22, 1986, in Shattuck, Oklahoma to Kenneth Eugene Jackson and Lora Ann Bodley. She passed from this life March 25, 2010 at the age of 23.
Kenna was raised in Woodward, OK, Gage, OK, Shattuck, OK, and Olney, IL. She attended school at Gage and Woodward.
Kenna was a domestic engineer by trade. She was baptized at the young age of 9 and was a member of the First Assembly of God church in Gage, Oklahoma.
Kenna enjoyed to scrapbook, take pictures, and always looked forward to new adventures. Most of all, she loved to spend time with her family and friends.
Kenna's goal in life was to have a child. She was told when she was diagnosed with liver disease that she would never be able to carry a child. However, she achieved her goal when she had her beautiful daughter, Nyeisha Tiann Branch, who is truly a miracle baby.
Kenna was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Lawrence Bodley and Dorothy Earnst, and her paternal grandmother, Margaret Jackson. She is survived by her daughter, Nyeisha Branch of Woodward, Oklahoma; mother, Lora Bodley of Calumet, Oklahoma; father, Kenneth Jackson of Olney, Illinois; maternal grandmother, Margaret Bodley of Shattuck, Oklahoma; sister, Latosha Burke of Sumner, Illinois; brothers, David Vaughn of Danville, Kentucky, and Kevin Jackson of Woodward, Oklahoma; boyfriend, Kenneth Branch of Woodward, Oklahoma, Steven "Big Foot" Hansen of Calumet, Oklahoma, several aunts and uncles, two nieces, two nephews, and a host of other family and friends.
