Obituary

Life long Gage resident, Kenneth Albert Chapman, passed from this life on July 8, 2012 at the age of 42. Kenneth was born in Shattuck, Oklahoma on October 17, 1969 to Dean and Karen (Field) Chapman.

Kenneth's entire 12 years of education were spent in the Gage Public School system. He grew up with 3 brothers, Jim, Dan, and Jesse and one special sister, Katie. While in high school Kenneth was an excellent athlete. During his senior year he placed in the state track meet in the high jump event. He received the Gage Tiger Award both his junior and senior year.

On August 19, 1991 Kenneth was united in marriage to Connie Arlene Larkey. They welcomed the birth of their children, twins, Brandon Dean and Brandilyn Karen, Brock Robert and Kaila Pratt.

Kenneth was a farmer/rancher and enjoyed working the ground and taking care of his livestock.

He was an avid sports enthusiast, and a huge OU football fan as well as a St Louis Cardinals fan. Listening to the Sports Animal was one of his favorite pastimes. He looked forward to hunting trips with his brothers and especially enjoyed family camping trips. He always liked getting together with friends.

Kenneth accepted Christ as his Savior in 2002 at the Gage First Baptist Church.

On September 24, 2010 Kenneth and Teresa Lynn Peterson (Broadbent) were joined in marriage and Kenneth became a loving step-father to Austin.

Kenneth was preceded in death by his mother, Karen Chapman; paternal grandparents, Frank and Frances Chapman and maternal grandparents, Albert and Evelyn Field. He is survived by his loving wife, Teresa of the home in Gage; children, Brandon, Brandilyn, Brock, Kaila and Austin; parents, Dean and Dana Chapman; brothers, Jim Chapman and wife Johnna, Danny Chapman and wife Robin and Jesse Chapman and wife Michelle; sister, Katie Miraglia and husband Dominic; grandchildren, Brylee Arlene Pratt and Emeree Danielle Pratt, several aunts and uncles, many nieces and nephews and a lifetime of friends.

Kenney enjoyed life and adored his children and grandchildren. He loved spending time with his family and will be sorely missed by all of them.
