Obituary

Kenneth Dwight Leatherman was born October 8, 1930, on the family farm near the Gray community in Beaver County, Oklahoma to Frank and Belle (Vance) Leatherman. He departed this life on December 9, 2008, at his home in Vici, Oklahoma.
He grew up during the depression and dirt storms in a large family where he learned a strong work ethic that remained with him throughout his life. He attended the small country schools in the Balko area of Beaver County.
Kenneth married the love of his life, Norma Lee Mann, on February 15, 1958, at Perryton, Texas. This union lasted 57 years and was blessed with three children, Connie Lou, Vickie Ann, and Kenneth Craig (K.C.).
Kenneth was baptized October 1, 1961, into the Church of the Firstborn. His great joys in life were his family, visiting on the scriptures, and fishing. He supported his family by working in concrete construction.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his loving wife, Norma; brothers, True and Paul Leatherman; sister, Cora Leatherman; brothers-in-law, Fred Cowan, Chester La Tour, and Hank Friesen; and son-in-law, Cecil Randall.
He is survived by his daughters, Connie Randall of Vici, Vickie Duncan and husband Johnny of Morris, Oklahoma, and son, K.C. and wife Carol Leatherman of Vici; eleven grandchildren, Eddie Randall and wife Deborah of Ponca City, Brian Randall and wife Kristal of Fairview, Donya Percival and husband Spencer of Valley Center, Kansas, Cheri Dixon and husband Floyd of Ft. Gibson, Aaron Randall and wife Tonya of Burlington, Ronnie Duncan and wife Tracy of Bixby, Craig Duncan and wife Lori of Lowell, Arkansas, Kenneth Duncan of Okmulgee, Cody Leatherman of Vici, Amy Hughen and husband Michael of Vici, and Holly Weber and husband Brian of Woodward; eighteen great-grandchildren, Chance, Tyler, and Devon Randall, Laura and Shane Randall, Sabrina and Geneva Percival, Karli Dixon, Kory and Anthony Randall, Allison, Cale, and Lexie Duncan, Macy, Abbey, and Chelsea Hughen, and Gracie and Carter Weber; by brother, Lester Leatherman and wife Mildred of Enid; sisters, Joy LaTour and Eva Outhier and husband Cecil, all of Lubbock, Texas, and Ollie May Friesen of Russell, Kansas; sisters-in-law, Frankie Leatherman of Bixby, Doris Leatherman of Tahlequah; brothers-in-law, Bob Mann and Donald Mann and wife Judy all of Vici; and numerous nieces, nephews, brethren, and friends.
