Kenneth LeRoy "Kenny" Scheuerman, 29, of Hidalgo RD, Carlsbad, NM, passed away on Thursday, June 7, 2018.  Kenneth LeRoy Scheuerman was born to Donald E. Scheuerman and Linda K. Clark on February 10, 1989 in Shattuck, Oklahoma.  Kenny attended Fargo Public Schools to the 8th grade and later made his home with his father in Carlsbad, NM.  He attended Carlsbad High School for a short time and then entered the New Mexico Youth Challenge, graduating one year before his class with college credits and his Phlebotomy license.

In 2007 his son Brian Chase was born. In 2011 Rileigh LeAnn Scheuerman was born to Kenny and Ashlynn Lunsford. She was the light of her daddy's life.

Kenny's smile and laughter was contagious. He loved to play his guitar. He played and heard his own music, even if others couldn't hear what he did.

He was loved by many and when he loved, he loved with his whole heart; you never had to question his love.  Kenny's best friend and confidant whether he listened to him or not, was his Daddy whom he loved beyond words.  One of Kenny's greatest joys in life was spending time with his nieces and nephews and being part of their lives as they grew up. They were more like brothers and sisters. His daughter was his greatest joy and legacy, he would tell Rileigh "I love you more than life."

Kenny was preceded in death by his brother, Donald Eugene Scheuerman II; paternal grandparents, Vera and Lester Scheuerman and maternal grandparents, Flora and Alfred Clark.

He is survived by his children, Brian Chase and Rileigh Scheuerman of the home; father, Donald Scheuerman and wife Trini, of Carlsbad; mother, Linda Clark, of Gage, OK; sisters, Buffy McKee and husband Keith and Lana Sears and husband D.J., all of Woodward, OK; sister, Delilah Baeza, of Artesia, NM; brother, Daniel Cerna and wife Denise and  sister, Tanyah Baeza and husband Gilbert, all of Carlsbad; "Yayee" Missy Heath, Ashlynn Lunsford, Katelynn Briggs and husband Matt and Angie, Brian and Brandon Bourgeois, all of whom he thought of as true family and numerous nieces, nephews, friends and family that all loved Kenny dearly.

Kenny lived his life his way, never conforming to what society or others thought. And to quote Kenny "I am, what I am."
