Kent Leslie Fields 52 year old resident of Shattuck, Oklahoma passed from this life on November 6, 2013 at his home. Kent was born on August 2, 1961 in Detroit, Michigan to Leslie Ernest and Frances Emogene (Fessler) Fields.

The family lived in Detroit, Michigan where Kent attended grade school before moving to Shattuck, Oklahoma and graduating with the class of 1979.

Kent joined the Marine Corps in 1979. He received the following awards: Marksman Rifle Badge, Good Conduct Medal and Superior Performance of Duty. Kent received his honorable discharge in March of 1981. After returning home he worked as a truck driver and most recently was working as a roughneck in the oilfield.

Kent's special interests were playing guitar, knife collecting and spending time with his son, Leslie, which he enjoyed tremendously. He was a member of Shepherds Chapel.

Kent was preceded in death by his parents, Leslie and Frances Fields.

He is survived by his son, Leslie S. Fields and fiancée Megan I. Callaway of Gage, Oklahoma; brother, Zeke Coppel of Beaver, Oklahoma; other family and a host of friends.
