Lanora "Juanell" (Fitz) Dunlap, 58-year-old Sharon, Oklahoma resident, passed from this life on January 31, 2023. Juanell was born on January 15, 1965 in Shattuck, Oklahoma to parents Norvie Dord and Elva Ruth (Broughton) Fitz. She lived in Shattuck, attending and graduating from Shattuck Public Schools. She would later go on to attend Panhandle State University in Goodwell, Oklahoma in its nursing program, and would later graduate from High Plains Technology Center in Woodward, Oklahoma from its own nursing program. Juanell was blessed with two daughters in her life- Sonia and Heather.

Juanell was a Registered Nurse and spent much of her life dedicated to the care of others. She lived in various places in Oklahoma and New Mexico while in the pursuit of her healthcare career. When she wasn't working, she enjoyed crochet and quilting. She attended the First Baptist Church of Shattuck. She always maintained a flower bed and could grow anything she put her mind to. She had a fondness for hummingbirds and monarch butterflies, as well as collecting angel figurines. Her greatest love, however, was being the proud mama of two daughters, and grandma to two granddaughters and one grandson.

Juanell is preceded in death by her father, Norvie Fitz; grandparents; aunts and uncles.

Juanell is survived by Elva Fitz of Shattuck; Craig Dunlap of Sharon; Sonia Dunlap of Sharon; Heather Foster and husband Les of Woodward; and granddaughters Paris and Audrina Foster of Woodward; grandson Trysten Foster of Woodward; as well as a host of friends and loved ones.
