Larry Randall Sparkman, 70-year-old Woodward, Oklahoma resident, passed from this life on October 18, 2022, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Larry was born on February 17, 1952 in Charleston, West Virginia to parents Groundel and Ruby (Randall) Sparkman. Larry and his family lived in Charleston for a time, before moving to Alamogorado, New Mexico, and later to Woodward. On December 6, 1974, Larry was united in marriage to the love of his life, Vicki Raye Moyer. The couple made their home in Woodward, and to this union was born a son, Terry.

Larry worked in the oil field and as a motorcycle mechanic. He enjoyed cars, motorcycles, and people- he never met a stranger. He was a loving and caring husband, father, grandfather, and brother.

Larry is preceded in death by his parents, Groundel and Ruby Sparkman; and brother, Gary Sparkman.

Larry is survived by his wife, Vicki Sparkman of Woodward; son Terry Sparkman and wife Melia of Omaha, Nebraska; grandchildren JJ, Ella, and Dustin; brother Leonard Sparkman and wife Noleta of Woodward; sister Vickey Harvey and husband Steve of Hugo, Oklahoma; sister Pam Burkhalter and husband Randy of Blackwell, Oklahoma; sister Katina Sparkman of Woodward; in-laws Dana Plank and husband Doug of Mutual, Oklahoma; as well as many nieces, nephews, and a host of friends.

Family and friends are gathering in a celebration of Larry's life on October 25, 2022 from 11:30 AM to 1:00 PM at the 1 ^st Assembly of God Fellowship Hall, 3906 Lakeview Dr., Woodward, OK 73801.
