Larry Dean Wyatt was born in Mangum, Oklahoma, December 3, 1938 to Paul and Lucile Chapman Wyatt. He passed from this life on October 27, 2011 at the age of 72. Larry entered the United States Army on May 29, 1957 and proudly served his country for over three years. He was honorably discharged and released from active duty on October 13, 1960. Larry and Merilyn were united in marriage in 1965. The couple was blessed with two sons, Larry Dean II and Joey. Larry lived in Woodward, Oklahoma when he met Vonietta Jean Karpe. They were united in marriage on December 24, 1995 in Las Vegas, Nevada. Much to their surprise, their beautiful daughter, Brittany Ann, was born on January 23, 1997. The couple moved to Shreveport, Louisiana in 1996 and returned to Oklahoma in 2002 making their home in Vici. Larry worked as a truck driver. He enjoyed reading old western books and watching western movies. His greatest joy however, was his family. He loved spending time with his children and grandchildren. Larry was preceded in death by his parents, Paul and Lucile Wyatt and first wife, Merilyn Joyce Wyatt. Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Vonietta Wyatt of the home in Vici, Oklahoma; sons, Larry Dean Wyatt, II and wife Angela of Mustang, Oklahoma and Joey Wyatt and wife LaDonna of Fort Worth, Texas, daughter, Brittany Ann Wyatt of Vici, Oklahoma, step-daughter, Crystal Thomas of Terra Haute, Indiana; granddaughters, Shelby Wyatt of Mustang, Oklahoma and Karisa Cayetano of Fort Worth, Texas, other relatives and many friends.
