Leonard Lee Callaway, 53 year old resident of Follett, Texas passed from this life on November 22, 2013 at Shattuck, Oklahoma. Leonard was born on December 13, 1959 in Elkhart, Kansas to Paul Dean and Edna LaDora (Green) Callaway.

The family lived in Elkhart, Kansas in 1959, Beaver, Oklahoma in 1960, and Perryton, Texas in 1963. They moved to Shattuck, Oklahoma in 1964 where Leonard attended school and graduated with the class of 1978. While attending school Leonard was very active and received many awards in Boy Scouts. He also received awards in basketball in 1978 and 1979. He received the award of Mr. Indian as well as the Shattuck Indian award. Leonard was baptized in the Church of Christ at the age of 15. He was a member and currently attended the Shattuck Church of Christ.

On June 10, 1978 Leonard married Felecia Re'nee Moore at the Church of Christ in Shattuck, Oklahoma. Five children were born to this union: Nicole LeAnn, Raylynn Carl, Melissa Re'nee, Kristina Marie and Scott Meininger. They lived in Shattuck, Oklahoma in 1978 and moved to Higgins, Texas in 1980 where they resided until they moved to Follett, Texas in 2009.

Leonard loved farming and ranching but his favorite thing to do when not in the field was to play golf. He truly enjoyed being on the golf course and had big dreams of one day receiving the PGA Award.

Leonard was preceded in death by his father, Paul Dean Callaway, grandparents, Walter and Effie Callaway, Earl and Leon Green and Robert and Edna Cloyd. He is survived by his wife, Felecia Callaway of the home in Follett, Texas; daughters, Nicole LeAnn and Melissa Re'nee, both of Shattuck, Oklahoma, and Kristina Marie of Follett, Texas; sons, Raylynn Carl of Shattuck, Oklahoma and Scott Meininger of Follett, Texas; mother, Edna LaDora Callaway of Shattuck, Oklahoma; Father and Mother in law, Pete Harmon and wife Sharon of Fairview, Oklahoma; brothers, Aaron Dean Callaway and wife Jana of Girard, Kansas, Bryan Mark Callaway and wife Brenda of Shattuck, Oklahoma, Quintin Karl Callaway and wife Melodie of Shattuck, Oklahoma, Dennis Ray Moore and wife Delene of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma and Gregory Lynn Harmon and wife Wilinda of Fairview, Oklahoma; 4 grandsons, Colten James, Alex Wade, Marshal Wayne and Caleb Ray; 2 aunts, Idell Green and Ruth Cloyd; 1 uncle, Leroy Green and wife Leona; 4 nieces, 9 nephews, other family and a host of friends.
