Linda Carole Endersby Darden, daughter of James Doyle and Ruby Maxine (Finney) Endersby, was born May 26, 1948 at Wichita, KS.  At the age of 71, she completed her earthly journey on May 5, 2020 at Oklahoma City, OK.   Her early years and school days were spent in Wichita, KS. and following her graduation the family moved to Woodward, OK.  Linda completed her master's degree in education at Northwestern Oklahoma State University at Alva, OK.

In June of 1970, at Woodward, OK., Linda was united in marriage to Marion Darden, they established a home in Sharon, OK. and were blessed with two sons, Travis and Todd and a daughter, Sherry. Beginning in 1980 Linda taught school in the Sharon-Mutual school system and touched many lives during her teaching career.  After she retired from teaching she made her home in Vici, OK. for a time before relocating to Woodward, OK.  She was a member of the South Persimmon Baptist Church at Sharon, OK. She enjoyed playing the piano at church, helping with dinners and providing music for many weddings and funerals.  She also served as part time pianist at Crown Heights Baptist Church in Woodward and entertained the residents at the Vici Nursing Home.  Linda was a member of the Woodward County Homemaker's Extension group. Her hobbies included reading, painting and crocheting.   Her special interest was crafting, and she and Marion enjoyed traveling to craft shows with their business, L & M Country Crafts.

Linda was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother whose memory will be cherished by her children, Travis Darden and wife Sheri of Arcadia, OK. and children, Elizabeth Cade, Sammul, Skyla, Seria, Salena and Logan Darden. Todd Darden and wife Laura of Sharon, OK. and children, Shanae Wear, Jerret, Emilee, Laramie, Torin and Caden Darden. Her brother, Doyle Endersby of Woodward, OK., several nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents, James and Ruby Endersby, her beloved husband, Marion Darden, infant daughter, Sherry Lynn and her brother Jim Endersby.

Memorials may be made to the South Persimmon Church in care of Shaw Funeral Home, P.O. Box 276, Vici, OK 73859.
