Linda Joyce Hopper, 68 year old Higgins, TX resident, passed from this life on March 31, 2016. Linda was born July 29, 1947 to Murel and Hattie (George) Gill in Higgins, TX. Linda attended Higgins schools and lived in the Higgins area all her life. She married Donald Hopper and to this union two children were born Brian and Ladonna. Linda worked as a waitress at the Little Rebel Café in Higgins, TX for a time.
Linda had many hobbies which included arts and craft. She was a big Elvis Presley fan and had all his albums and memorabilia. She loved anything to do with angels, Elvis, or eagles. Linda enjoyed going to Walmart any time she could and walk up and down the isles looking at all the different items. Linda had many friends and family that she was always glad to help in any way she could. She always said "Never take a single day for granted". She will be dearly missed by her family and friends.
Linda was preceded in death by her son Brian Scott Hopper; parents Murel and Hattie Gill; three brothers Raymond, Ronald, and Robert Gill; three sisters Leota Childress, Patsy Rameriz, and Naomi Choate.
She is survived by her daughter LaDonna Hopper of Higgins, TX; sister Gladys Gregory of Miami, OK; two grandsons Joshua Hopper and wife Sandra of Boerne, TX and Jesse Hopper and wife Carly Jo of Seguin, TX; granddaughter Ashley Hopper of San Antonio, TX; great niece Shelby Berner of Pampa, TX; great nephew Calvin Childress of Cordell, OK; and many nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and many friends.
