Obituary

Linda Fern (Robertson) Jameson Fritz, known lovingly as Wendy, passed away peacefully on April 12, 2024, in Catoosa, Oklahoma at the age of 83. Born on June 14, 1940, in Leedey, Oklahoma, she was the daughter of Floyd and Audrey Robertson.

Wendy grew up in Leedey where she attended local schools and graduated in 1958. From an early age, she embraced her faith, having been baptized at the Baptist church and was a long-time member of Rhea Baptist Church. She briefly attended Southwestern Oklahoma State University, which broadened her horizons before she embarked on her professional journey.

In her professional life, Linda was a dedicated Senior Wealth Advisor for the Bank of Oklahoma, where her commitment to her work was evident through the numerous accolades she received throughout her career. Her passion was not just limited to her profession; she also had a deep love for gardening, exploring new destinations through travel, and was an active participant in her local United Way chapter.

Wendy was blessed with two children during her life, Michael and Jade. On May 19, 2000, Wendy's life took another joyful turn when she married Larry George Fritz in Las Vegas, Nevada. This union expanded her family, welcoming two step-children, Rhonda and Joe, whom she adored as her own. Following their marriage, Linda and Larry settled in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, where they enjoyed many happy years together.

Wendy was preceded in death by her parents, Floyd and Audrey Robertson, and her sister, Helen May King. Her legacy continues through her beloved family. She is survived by her husband, Larry Fritz of Broken Arrow; son, Michael Wayne Clark and wife Kim of Putnam, OK; daughter, Jade McGlothlin of Edmond, OK; daughter, Rhonda Mills of Owasso, OK; son, Joe Fritz of Brownsboro, TX; grandchildren, Parker McGlothlin of Bethany, OK; Amanda Nemec and husband Michael of Addison, TX; Austin Mills of Owasso, OK; Rocky Nelson and wife LeeAnna of Meno, OK; Michael Nelson and wife Dani of Meno; and Grant Baker and wife Amy of Taloga, OK; along with numerous family, friends, and coworkers who will miss her deeply.

Wendy's warmth, wisdom, and the profound impact she had on those around her will be cherished and remembered by all who knew her.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, April 15, 2024, at 2:00 PM at Rhea Baptist Church, with interment to follow at Rhea Cemetery. The services will be under the care of Shaw Funeral Home.
