Linda Louise Willsie

Linda Louise (Gordon) Willsie, 83-year-old resident of Shattuck, Oklahoma, passed from this life on October 1, 2026, in Shattuck.

Linda was born on December 18, 1942, in Shattuck, Oklahoma, to Z. V. Gordon and Eunice (Ballinger) Gordon. She grew up in the Shattuck area and went on to further her education, earning a bachelor’s degree from Oklahoma State University.

Linda devoted much of her life to education, working as a teacher. Through her years in the classroom, she had the opportunity to teach and encourage many students in the community.

On August 23, 1981, Linda married Jessie Willsie in Sentinel, Oklahoma. They shared their lives together until his passing.

Linda was a member of the Shattuck Methodist Church and was also involved with the Calico Club Extension. She enjoyed being a part of her community and the friendships she made throughout the years.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Z. V. and Eunice Gordon; and her husband, Jessie Willsie.

Linda is survived by her son, Gordon “Scott” Davis; her sister, Ann Farrar; as well as other extended family members and many friends.

The family would like to express their sincere appreciation to the staff of Shattuck Nursing Home and Haven Hospice for the kindness, compassion, and care shown to Linda.

Linda will be remembered by her family, former students, and friends for the life she lived and the many lives she touched throughout her years.
