Lloyd Victor Eaves was born June 13, 1929 in Hennipen, OK to Lemual Glenn and Martha Elizabeth Eaves. February 19, 1950, Lloyd was married to Patsy Marie Durham in Portales, NM. To this union, three daughters were born, Vickie Geraldine, Glenna Marie and Debra Sue.
After Lloyd and Pat were married, they resided in Eaves City, OK; Homer, OK; Hennipen, OK; Davis, OK; and San Jose, CA. May 1966, Lloyd and Pat moved to Arnett, OK and made this their home for the next 48 years.
Lloyd passed away January 17, 2014 in his home surrounded by his love ones at the age of 84.
Through the years, Lloyd and Pat owned and operated Lloyd's Body Shop, Pat's Café, Lloyd's Welding Service and Motel, Pat's Pueblo and Lloyd's Package Store. Lloyd and Pat also enjoyed finding and collecting antiques.
One of his greatest pleasures in life was growing and tending to his herd of goats. He had so much fun attending livestock auctions where he made many friends that came to mean so much to him. If a friend had a need, they knew they could always come to Lloyd. Over the years Lloyd and Pat opened their home to many including family, foster children and anyone in need.
Lloyd had a smile on his face and a twinkle in his beautiful blue eyes when he was with his grandchildren teasing them. They knew he loved them as much as they loved their Granddad Lloyd or Pa Pa Lloyd.
When Pat became ill, Lloyd spent several years in their home and Shattuck Nursing Home assuring that she had the very best of care. Pat was "the love of his life". They were married for 60 years.
