Lorena Olive Cadwell, 96 year old resident of Vici, OK, passed from this life on February 23, 2018. Lorena was born September 9, 1921 to Elmer and Daisy Mae (Koutz) Hall in Crawford, OK. She grew up in the Crawford area at the bend of the Canadian River. Lorena attended grade school at the 5 Star school east of Roll, OK and also at Belliview. She went to high school in Durham until the 10th grade.
Lorena married Guy Cadwell on December 24, 1941 in Arapaho, OK, and to this union four children were born Clyde Lorn, Darline June, Bonnie Earlene, and Guy Lawrence Jr.. The family lived in Ellis county and Lorena was a farmer's wife keeping up the homestead and helping Guy with all kinds of farm work. She was baptized in 1990 at the age of 69 at the Nazarene Church, and later became a member of the Baptist Church. On November 11, 2011 she was united in marriage to Frank Moore at Arnett, OK. and they shared five years together before Frank's passing in 2016.
Lorena was preceded in death by her husband Guy Cadwell, four brothers and their wives Clarence and Mary Hall, Emmit and Shirley Hall, TF (Dots) and Ruby Hall, and Jim and Marion Hall, five sisters and their husbands Lilly and Vernon Williams, Veda and Orville Bullard, Cora and Alvin Shillings, Lucille and Bub Williams, Faye and Aldon Ward.
She is survived by her children Clyde Lorn Cadwell and wife Mary Lou of Arnett, OK, Darline June Peterson and husband Gene of Hooper, CO, Bonnie Earlene West and husband John of Edmond, OK, and Guy Lawrence Cadwell Jr. and wife Cherri of Arnett, OK; two sisters Velma Haydee of Madera, CA and Fern Crawford of Vici, OK; one brother Raymond Hall and wife Kathy of Dayton, TX.; nine grandchildren, thirteen great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and a host of friends.
