Louis Andrew Crouch, 80 year old Arnett, OK resident passed away on June 8, 2014 as a result of a car accident. Louis was born on December 29, 1933 to William Andrew and Sarah Alwilda Tanner Crouch in Higgins, TX.

Louis was reared in the Bishop community attending the Bishop Country School. In 1950 his family moved to Arnett, OK where he worked at numerous jobs until 1953 when he joined the United States Army. His active duty was from May 26, 1953 to March 5, 1955 during the Korean War. Louis was honorably discharged. He returned home and attended Okmulgee Technical School in Okmulgee, OK learning the trade of auto mechanic. Louis returned to Arnett and started a trucking company and later opened a garage, mechanicing for the next thirty years.

Louis was baptized on November 15, 1980 and promised God that he would live for him and his will for the rest of his life. Louis attended the Church of the Nazarene in Higgins, TX. On January 15, 1993 Louis was united in marriage to Alma Barton Fariss.

Louis was preceded in death by his parents, William and Sarah Crouch and sister, Alwilda Hadsel.

Louis is survived by his wife of the home, Alma; Alma's children, whom he considered daughters, Kathy Preston of McAlester, OK, Delores Dauer and husband Mike of Lindale, TX and Virginia Davis and husband Marty of Eufaula, OK; four grandchildren, Steven Dauer, Elizabeth Dauer, Michael Dauer and Marshall Davis; two great-grandchildren; other family and a host of friends.
