Lynda Marie Tyler White
Lynda was born January 11, 1949 to Charles and Geneva Tyler in Chanute, Kansas. In 1960 the family moved to Arnett, OK to help with the family farm. She graduated from Arnett High School as Co-Salutatorian in 1967. She married Wayne White soon after graduation and together they raised three boys.
Lynda had a home daycare for several years, and also worked at various jobs, her last job being Deputy Treasurer for Ellis County for 13 years. She was a member and Deacon of the First Christian Church in Yukon, OK. Lynda always made the best of any situation, looking for the good, no matter how bad things may have been. Her smile and positive attitude will be missed by many. Her hobbies included crafts, sewing baby quilts, tending to her roses and going to grandchildren's ballgames and other activities. She enjoyed reading, fishing, swimming and time at the lake with her family. On July 27, 2013 Lynda left this earth to be received into heaven as a beautiful angel. She was preceded in death by her father Charles Tyler, sister Judy Chesnut, and nephew Chris Chesnut. Those left to cherish her memory are her husband of 47 years Wayne White, mother Geneva Clem, three sons and wives, David and Chrystal White, Bryan and Rhonda White, and Greg and Deana White, 8 grandchildren, sister Charlene Knowles.
