Marie Angeline Deal, 89 year old resident of Shattuck, OK, went to her heavenly home on April 20, 2018 in Shattuck, OK. Marie was born July 14, 1928 to Jacob O. and Sophia (Middleton) Meier in Wiley, Colorado. She grew up in Oklahoma City and attended grade school there, until the family moved to Shattuck where she attended and graduated from Shattuck High School.

On January 5, 1948 Marie married Harvey Deal in Canadian, Tx and to this union six children were born; Patricia, Loretta, Bonita, Jennifer, Lana, and Harvey (Randy). They made their home south of Shattuck. She was a homemaker with many talents. Marie was a member of the Ebenezer Baptist Church and attended regularly there. Marie enjoyed sewing, quilting, gardening, fishing, crocheting, pottery, watching the Thunder Basketball and her grandchildren play sports. There was not a project Marie started that she did not finish.

Marie is preceded in death by her husband Harvey Deal, parents Jacob and Sophia Meier, daughter Patricia Ann Deal, one brother Lewis Meier, two sisters Faye Dodson and Corrine Schibblehute, and one grandson Jeremy Parker.

She is survived by her children Loretta Bivins and husband Carson of Canadian, TX, Bonita Sloan and husband Kent of Shattuck, OK, Jennifer Parker of Edmond, OK, Lana Wilcoxson and husband Mike of Woodward, OK, and Harvey (Randy) Deal and wife Lisa of Shattuck, OK; grandchildren, Kimberly and Troy Seagler, and their children Brennyn and Jaeden; Carson (Blaine) Bivins, Jr. and his daughter McKayla Bivins; Angela and Coley Griffin; Misti Sloan; Kris and Jamie Sloan and their children Dodger, Bodey Max and Goldie Sloan; Darci and Austin Johnson and their son Crosby; Amanda Parker and her children, Ava Parker-Mitchell and Austin Parker-Mitchell; Megan Parker; David Schaffer; Ryan and Suzy Wilcoxson and their children Riley and Jace Wilcoxson. Dustin Wilcoxson and Cori Adams and their children Kyler Schnoebelen, Kade Wilcoxson and Tinley Wilcoxson; Chelsey and Josh Nauss and their daughter Kaylee Nauss; Ashlea and Connor Babcock; Preston Deal; Montgomery Malone; and many nieces, nephews and a host of friends.
