Martha Raye Taylor Graybill was born in Cheyenne, Oklahoma on April 2, 1941, one of six children, to Curtis and Beulah Taylor. She passed from this life on September 30, 2012 at the age of seventy-one years. She lived and grew up in western Oklahoma attending elementary school in Custer City and later Cheyenne Public Schools. Martha accepted Christ as her personal savior and was baptized at the age of fourteen in Custer City, Oklahoma. She met the love of her life, Eddie Graybill, while working in Weatherford. They worked together as their romance grew. Eddie and Martha were married on the veranda of a lovely home on the corner of State Street and Keyes in Weatherford on October 7, 1986. They established a home in Weatherford and have lived there since that time.
Martha enjoyed doing crafts, crocheting, and embroidering. She was very good at making doilies and tablecloths. She loved giving her craft projects as gifts and seeing the pleasure that they brought to other people. Martha cherished her job working at the Weatherford Opportunity Workshop and spending time with her many friends there. Spending time with people was something Martha really enjoyed. She will always be remembered by her husband as being a very good cook.
Martha is survived by her husband Eddie of Weatherford, OK; brother-in-law Allen Graybill and wife Audine of Oklahoma City, OK; Sister-in-law Sheila Barrick and husband Bill of Arapaho, OK; Sister-in-law LaTricia Harrel and husband Frank of Leedey, OK; Brother-in-law George Graybill and wife Laura of Granbury, TX; Sister-in-law Twylia Keck and husband Rod of Fairview, OK; many nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and numerous other family members and friends.
