Marvin (Lucky) Wright Stantz, a life rich with love, wisdom, and cherished moments, began his earthly journey on July 20, 1934, in Sullivan, Indiana. Born to Marvin Sr. and Helen (Goldie) Stantz, Lucky's life was marked by his unwavering dedication to family, service, and the simple joys that make life beautiful. He peacefully concluded his journey on August 27, 2023, leaving behind a legacy that will forever touch the hearts of those who had the privilege of knowing him.

Lucky's early years were spent in pursuit of knowledge and friendship. He attended grade school and high school at Clayton Public School, proudly graduating as part of the Class of 1952 in Belleville, Indiana. His formative years set the stage for a life guided by strong principles and unwavering compassion. Answering the call to serve his country, Lucky joined the Navy after high school. Stationed in Norfolk, Virginia, he embraced his role with honor and commitment. His dedication to duty and service was a testament to his character, traits that he would carry with him throughout his life.

On July 19, 1972, Lucky embarked on a new chapter of his life as he married Mary Elaine Miskel at the First Christian Church in Woodward, OK. Their union was one of profound love and partnership, creating the foundation upon which their life together was built.

Lucky's journey took him to various corners of the country, each new location leaving an indelible mark on his heart. From Woodward, Oklahoma, to Norfolk, Virginia, and finally settling in Camargo, OK in 1977, Lucky's sense of home was shaped by the people he met and the experiences he shared.

A father to Lisa, and a father through marriage to Jackie and Cherri, Lucky's love extended to every facet of his family. He found joy in the presence of his grandkids, relishing their company and cherishing each shared moment. His hobbies ranged from immersing himself in the writings of Louie L'Amour to engaging in solitaire and aggravation. He was a true sports enthusiast, passionately following ballgames, Sooner Football, and Nascar races. A member of the VFW, Lucky's camaraderie with fellow veterans was a testament to his genuine nature and sense of brotherhood.

Lucky's spiritual journey was profound, as he was baptized in the serene waters of a lake during the Belleville Methodist Church Revival. His faith journey continued as a member of the First Christian Church in Camargo, OK.

As Lucky's earthly journey came to a close, he was reunited with his parents, Marvin Sr. and Helen Stantz, sister Lela Mae Barnett, and brothers Charles Stantz and Bobby Stantz.
