Mary Louise "Harrison" Brummett, 93 year old resident of Vinita, OK, passed on August 2, 2022 in Grove, OK.  Mary was born December 16, 1928 to Charles Laverne and Mary Agnes "Neff" Harrison in Glen Elder, KS.  She attended school in Topeka, KS and graduated from Topeka High School.  After graduating high school, Mary attended the Bethany Nazarene College in Bethany, OK.

On December 30, 1951, Mary was united in marriage to Robert "Bob" Glen Brummett in Topeka, KS.  To this union, five children were born: Randall Neal, Russell Glen, Richard LaVerne, Ronald Ray, and Reneé Denise.  Mary and her family resided in several places including Topeka, KS, Ft Benning, GA, Columbus, GA, Enid, OK, Shattuck, OK before finally moving to Vinita, OK.  Mary was not only a homemaker who raised five children, she also helped her husband Bob on the dairy farm.  She enjoyed music, playing piano, cooking, and games.

Mary was a member of the Gideon's International Auxiliary and Casa Contenta Home Extension Club.  She was a very sweet kind, woman of God who worked tirelessly for the Church.  She was a member of the Shattuck Nazarene Church and attended the First Baptist Church in Langley, OK.  Mary played the piano at Church for over 70 years. She taught Senior Adult Sunday School Class, served on the Church Board for many years, and served as president of the Missionary Society.   She was an incredible cook and always welcomed friends and family into her home to share a meal.  The new ministers who came to church were always treated to a Welcome Meal!  Mary will be missed greatly by her family, friends, and Church family.

Mary is preceded in death by her husband Robert "Bob" Brummett, parents LaVerne and Agnes Harrison, brother Don Harrison, brothers-in-law Bill Brummett and Glen Jones, and sister-in-law Neta Jones.

She is survived by her children Randall Brummett and wife Sherry of Goddard, KS, Russell Brummett and wife Garla of Grand Lake Towne, OK, Richard Brummett and wife Sara of Yucaipa, CA, Ronald Brummett and wife Anne of Yukon, OK, and Reneé Brummett; grandchildren Derrick Brummett and wife Farrah, Angela Conyers and husband Josh, Stephanie Guldner and husband Jake, Jeffrey Brummett and wife Lindsey, Shawnna Burgess and husband Dallas, Brice Brummett, Mark Brummett, Grace Brummett, Mary Allison Baugh, and Sara Beam; great grandchildren Victoria, Madison, Olivia, and Alexandria Brummett, Tristyn and Dawsyn Burgess, Natalie and Ayden Baugh, Caleb, Kylie, and Cody Conyers, Jackson, Carson, Collins, and Bailey Guldner, Ruby and Abe Brummett; brother Harry Harrison and wife Pat of Glen Elder, KS; sisters-in-law Dixie Brummett of Grand Lake Towne, OK and Mary Harrison of Topeka, KS, many nieces, nephews, extended family and a host of friends.
