Mary Elaine Garibay was born October 1, 1952 in Raymondville, Texas to Timoteo Garza and Maria Orona. She passed from this life Tuesday, December 22, 2009 at the Seiling Municipal Hospital at the age of 57.

Mary was joined in marriage to Eleseo S. Garibay on April 24, 1967 in Sherman, Texas where she grew up. The couple then moved to Taloga, Oklahoma where they made their home. To this union four children were born, two sons Alex and Rolando and two daughters Mary Lee and Ginger Lee.

Mary was a loving wife and mother who spent her life as a homemaker taking care of her family. She loved to go fishing and spending time outdoors. She received her greatest enjoyment spending time with her family.

Mary was preceded in death by her parents Timoteo and Maria Garza and one brother Ruben Garza. Those left to cherish her memory are her loving husband of over 40 years, Eleseo "Alex" Garibay of Taloga, Oklahoma; daughters Mary Lee Garibay and family of Ponca City, Oklahoma and Ginger Lee Wells and family of Bella Vista, Arkansas; sons Eleseo "Alex" Garibay and family of Taloga, Oklahoma and Rolando Garibay and family of Kansas City, Missouri; brothers, Rolando Garza and family of Bonham, Texas, Randy Garza of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Timoteo Garza and family of Bonham, Texas, Ray Garza and family of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, and Roy Garza and family of Bonham, Texas; sister Delores Garza and family of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; nine grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, other family and many dear friends.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Mary Garibay Memorial Fund at the First American Bank of Taloga, Oklahoma.
