Mary Juanita Scott Moak was born October 26, 1928 to Hershel and Gertrude Molen, in Cordell, OK. She went to be with her Lord and Savior on September 21, 2016, at her home in Gage, OK at the age of 87 years.

In 1936 Mary and her family moved to Gage, OK where Mary attended school. On June 10, 1946 Mary was united in marriage to Lloyd Leonard Scott at Coldwater, Kansas. To this union four children were born, two daughters and two sons.

In 1966 Mary went to work at the Western State Hospital in Ft. Supply, OK. Her love and compassion for the patients led her to further her education as a nurse. In 1973, Mary graduated with an LPN degree from the Vocational School of Practical Nursing at Woodward Memorial Hospital. As an LPN Mary worked at the Newman Memorial Hospital in Shattuck, OK until she retired to take care of her ill husband.

After Lloyd Leonard Scott passed away on April 7, 1995 she spent time in Tyler, TX with her sister, where she attended the Baptist Church. While attending church there she met Cecil Bernell Moak. They were united in marriage on November 16, 1996.

Mary was a devoted Christian and loved her Lord and Savior. She was a faithful member of the Assembly of God Church in Shattuck, OK. Mary was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She always put her family first. She loved singing and crocheting.

Mary was preceded in death by her parents, her late husband Lloyd Leonard Scott, grandson Leroy Jones, great-great-granddaughter Temterance Romero, six sisters, and three brothers.

She is survived by her husband Cecil of the home; two daughters Anita Brawly and husband Russell of Fargo, OK, and Carol Gonser and husband Terry of Cederdale, OK; two sons Elvis Scott and wife Reynita of Woodward, OK, and Robert Scott and wife Paula of Arnett, OK; eleven grandchildren; many great-grandchildren and several great-great-grandchildren; other relatives and a host of friends. She will be missed by all who knew her.
