Matilda Mae (Bentley) Stockman, fondly known as "Tilly," was born February 9, 1929 in Camargo, OK.  She was one of seven children born to George Oda and Anna Maude (Evans) Bentley. She passed from this life September 11, 2023 in Oklahoma City, OK. at the age of 94 years, 7 months and 2 days. She grew up in the Vici community and her school days were spent in the Vici Public Schools.  In 1946 she was united in marriage to Harry Stockman in Ashland, KS.  Two daughters Janet and Marilyn blessed their home.  They resided in Chickasha, OK. a number of years where Tilly was an active member of the Baptist church before they relocated to Shattuck, OK.  For the past year Tilly had made Parkview Pointe Sr. Living in Laverne, OK. her home.   She was a dedicated homemaker and caring for her family was her primary occupation.  Her special interests included bowling and playing bridge.

She is preceded in death by her parents George and Anna Bentley, her husband of 74 years Harry Stockman, and a daughter Marilyn Chateau.  Four of her siblings, three brothers Glen Orley, Ralph (Bucky) and Willis Bentley, a sister Violet Broadstreet and other loved ones.

Tilly is survived by her daughter Janet Reeser of Denver, CO., her sister Eunice Starbuck and her husband Ed of Shattuck, OK. and her brother Howard Bentley of Shattuck, OK.  Two grandchildren Michael Reeser, Emily Reeser and Mike, one great grandchild Evelyn Reeser, numerous nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.
