Michael Charles Gross 64 year old Arnett, OK resident passed from this life on October 14, 2021 at his home in Arnett. Mike was born to Mary (Martin) and Jacob Gross on December 28, 1956 in Shattuck, OK. He was raised on the family farm near Arnett and attended Arnett Public Schools, graduating with the Class of 1975.

Mike was united in marriage to Brenda Peacock Gross on June 1, 1987 in Lipscomb County, TX. The union was blessed with two children, Jeffrey Michael and Ashley Dawn. They made their home on the family farm for several years before moving to town or just east of Arnett.

Mike was a farmer and rancher that enjoyed running heavy equipment and being around cattle out at the farm.  He loved to be outdoors. He loved hunting, fishing, and time with his grandchildren. Mike also enjoyed reading Louis L'Amour books, watching westerns, cooking shows and bull riding events on the TV. During his childhood, Mike attended the First Baptist Church in Arnett.

Mike was preceded in death by his parents, Jacob and Mary Gross; two brothers, Michael Eugene and Jessie Gross; sister Mary Jane Gross; nephew Verlyn Dale Johnson, Jr; two great-nieces Hadley Barton and Payson Allison. He is survived by his wife Brenda Gross of Arnett, OK, son Jeffrey Gross of Arnett, OK, daughter Ashley Gross of Woodward, OK, four sisters Judy Johnson and husband Verlyn of Arnett, OK, Faye Gross of Arnett, OK, Regina Miller and husband David of Yukon, OK and Karen Barton and husband Jerry of Ardmore, OK, two grandchildren Arli Jo and Layla Lee Murray, special cousin and best friend Lloyd Schoenhals of Clinton, OK, six nephews  Nathan Miller, Jason Miller, William Johnson, Zachary Johnson, Gene Barton and Ty Barton, six nieces Joelle Miller, Marilou Miller, Randi Stanley, Jana Meece, Keelan Barton and Abby Wright, several great nephews and nieces and other family and friends.
