Obituary
Mildred Louise Kennedy Vincent 93 year old resident of Spring, TX passed from this life on March 7, 2013. Mildred was born on August 14, 1919 in Vici, OK to Bill and Dessie Turnage Kennedy.
On May 14, 1937 Mildred married Cecil Delph Vincent in Vici, OK. Two boys blessed this union, Darrell Layne and Larry Wayne. The family made their home in Vici, OK and later moved to Oklahoma City, OK.
Mildred worked as a saleswoman for John A. Brown and B.C. Clark. Many times Mildred was honored by B.C. Clark as the sales person of the year. She enjoyed ranching, working with horses and hand crafts. She was a member of the Kappa Sigma and the Mothers Club in Oklahoma City.
Mildred was a member of the Crown Heights Christian Church and served as a Church Deaconess and was a member of the "Sewing Club".
Mildred was preceded in death by her husband Cecil Vincent in 1998. She is survived by her sons, Darrell Vincent and wife Ming of Tianjin, China and Larry Vincent and wife Denise of The Woodlands, in TX; five grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other family and a host of friends.
Graveside services were held on Thursday March 14, 2013 at 5:00 p.m. at Sunnyside Cemetery, Vici, Oklahoma. Condolences may be made to the family at shawfuneralhome.net
