Myron Earl Coykendall was born on March 16, 1949 to Myron Vern Coykendall and Maggie Elizabeth (Jones) Coykendall in Onterio, Oregon and passed away in his home on Tuesday May 29, 2012 in Gage, Oklahoma. He attended the Arnett Public Schools. He served in the United States Army from December 1970 to November 1976 when he was honorably discharged. While serving his country he was awarded the National Defense Service Medal and a Sharpshooter (Rifle) Award. Myron married Judy Dale on February 8, 2002, in Lipscomb, Texas. They made their home in Gage, Oklahoma.
During his life Myron worked in the oil field, in the farming industry, as well as, the hog farming industry. He had a special love for cats and he also enjoyed gardening.
Myron was preceded in death by his parents and one brother Billy Ray Coykendall.
Myron is survived by his wife Judy of Shattuck, Oklahoma; one sister, Joann Hazel and husband Mark of Canyon, Texas; nieces Samantha McReynolds, Olivia Wise, Jill and Penny Coykendall; nephews Eric Brown and Joe Coykendall; and other relatives and friends.
