Neil Gregory Bien age 49 of Colfax, Indiana passed away April 29, 2010 at his residence. He was born April 18, 1961 in Fresno, California to Bill Ray and Frances Deanna (Keener) Bien.

Neil attended Service-Hanshew High School. After graduating, he played semi-pro baseball in Bakersfield, California on the Angels farm team. Other than baseball, he enjoyed rock collecting, astronomy, and was an avid Colts fan.

Neil worked several years on the Alaska Oil rigs, and until recently was a truck driver for Industrial Pallet Company.

Neil was united in marriage to Barbara Stark on December 5, 2004 in Frankfort, Indiana.

Neil was preceded in death by his mother, and one brother. He is survived by his wife, Barbara of the home; father, Bill Bien of Sharon, Oklahoma; brother Jesse Bien and wife Keri of South Carolina, sisters Bonnie James and husband Mike of Vici, Oklahoma; and Sandy Chesson and husband David of Sonora, California; paternal grandmother, Lizzie Bien of Vici, Oklahoma; uncle Rod Keener and wife Debbie of Lafayette, California, aunts Linda Shore and husband Merle of Woodward, Oklahoma, and Kay Puffer of Sacramento, California; nephews, Kyle Morton of Oak Harbor, Washington, and Ben Chesson of Sonora, California; nieces, Deanna Hutchens and husband Bob of Vici, Oklahoma; Sharon Kinsey and husband Cody of Woodward, Oklahoma; Kelseigh Bien and Mackenzie Bien both of South Carolina, and Sydney Chesson of Sonora, California; great-nephew Michael Morton and great-niece Yevette Morton, both of Oak Harbor, Washington; stepdaughters, Mary Stark and Lee Stark both of Frankfort, Indiana; step grandchildren, Eeson Stark, Kylinde Villars and Lillian Small, other family and friends.
