Olive Mae Keyser passed from this life on April 11, 2017 in Amarillo, TX at the age of 100 years, 6 months, and 10 days. Olive was born to Ralph and Ora (McCollum) Reeves on October 1, 1916 on the family farm west of Vici, OK. She was raised and educated in the area. On her birthday, October 1, 1938 she was married to the love of her life Adolph Keyser in Woodward, OK, and to this union two children, Oliver and Louis were born. The couple made their home in the Vici and Woodward, OK communities, where Olive worked as a Nurse's Aide at Western State Hospital for 21 years. Olive and Adolph were longtime members of the Church of the Nazarene in Vici. After her husband's death, Olive moved to Bethany to be close to her sisters. In her spare time, she enjoyed making clothes and baking pies.
In addition to her husband Adolph Keyser, Olive was preceded in death by her parents Ralph and Ora Reeves, grandson Steven Keyser, and a brother.
Left to carry on her legacy are her two sons, Oliver Keyser and Louis Keyser, both of Amarillo, three grandchildren, six great grandchildren, eight sisters, three brothers-in-law, and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
